On the occasion of the ‘Qualsiasità’ exhibition at the Pescheria Foundation Visual Arts Center in Pesaro, on Saturday 10 February 2018 at 5 pm the San Giovanni Library hosts a meeting with the artists and the curator of the exhibition project to deepen the role of their work in relation to the themes of the territory and its transformation.
Around the figure of Guido Guidi and from the second half of the eighties, several authors and realities such as Linea di Confine, Lugo Land and Osservatorio Fotografico have realized or coordinated photographic investigations with the aim of building a contemporary visual archive on the Emilia-Romagna territory. A practice of critical and artistic observation and reflection around the territory to which the production of exhibitions, artist residences, educational activities and publications have often been associated.
Guido Guidi (photographer, professor at the IUAV University of Venice), Cesare Ballardini (photographer), Cesare Fabbri (photographer, curator of Osservatorio Fotografico), Jonathan Frantini (photographer), Marcello Galvani (photographer), William Guerrieri (photographer, coordinator by Linea di Confine), Francesco Neri (photographer), Luca Nostri (photographer, editor and curator of Lugo Land) will be present in conversation with Alessandro Dandini de Sylva (photographer, curator and director of the Malaspina Foundation).
From 4 pm Linea di Confine, Lugo Land and Osservatorio Fotografico will showcase their publications.
At the end of the round table, at 7 pm there will be a visit to the exhibition in Pescheria led by the curator and the seven authors.
The meeting is organized by the Fondazione Pescheria Centro Arti Visive (Pesaro) in collaboration with the Malaspina Foundation (Ascoli Piceno).
