On Wednesday October 5th at 18h the Malaspina Foundation will host a talk with Luca Nostri, founder and curator of Lugo Land, a book series for photography and visual art.
Lugo Land’s publications arise from a critical and artistic reflection around the Lower Romagna area and are often associated with the production of exhibitions, commissions on the territory, artist residencies, educational activities. Among the photographers involved in the project: Olivo Barbieri, Tim Davis, David Farrell, Guido Guidi, Graciela Iturbide, Xavier Ribas, Terry Adkins. Lugo Land has served as a living, working, experimental space, forming a creative and diverse community of people, and it has developed an international network affiliating with some prestigious foreign universities: the University of Pennsylvania School of Design in Philadelphia, the Architecture Association School of architecture in London, the Photography Program at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York.
There will be Luca Nostri (photographer, founder and curator of Lugo Land) in conversation with Alessandro Dandini de Sylva (photographer, curator and director of the Malaspina Foundation). Will follow a guided tour of the exhibition Qualsiasità with Alessandro Dandini de Sylva, Luca Nostri and Francesco Neri (photographer).
The talk is part of the AscoliAachenLeipzig/Riverside program, an international workshop hosted by the School of Architecture and Design of Ascoli Piceno in collaboration with the FH Aachen – University of Applied Sciences and the Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig.
